I am upcycled dress and homecrafted product!
This is easy-going and lax upcycled dress. Made by own hands. Upcycled cotton jersey. Oversized T-shaped dress. Construcion was created on the basis of an extended boyfriend T-shirt.
Dress in intense orange of a carrot or rust colour. Decorative element in the form of a crinkled panel on the side of the dress.
I managed to buy this material as deadstock, some post-production residue in one untouched piece. It is a thin, quite flowing jersey.This model is off-season – perfect to wear all year round.
I had narrow strips of fabric left, so that’s how the idea of adding ruffles on the right side was born. This added asymmetry to this simple, minimalist form.
The ruffle motif appears in several models in the Farm Life capsule collection. Crinkled elements made of out of waste fabric are a great way to use scraps in the concept of zero waste design.
It took me 3,5h to made this item.
This product is made from upcycled material. Therefore, it may have some minor imperfections that do not significantly affect the quality of the product.
